This is to advise that I have worked with PPD Restorations and Sylvain Giasson, President, since May 2009. I have worked with PPD in the following capacities: Owners' representative Engineering consultant Asbestos abatement consultant I have personally worked with PPD on projects involving: Major structural upgrades of roof structures for twenty-one (21) buildings ($1.2 M) Structural and weatherproof repairs of approximately sixty (60) balconies ($200,000) Boatshed, major deck replacement and various interior replacements for former BC Premier Investigation and repair of various drainage projects Various asbestos abatement projects Various interior repair and refinish projects Numerous general repair projects involving rough and finish carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical. It is my professional opinion that PPD provides high quality work in a timely and cost effective manner. Their staff demonstrate professionalism, politeness and have an excellent customer satisfaction attitude about their work.

We have utilized PPD Restorations for major and minor maintenance repairs on our eighteen acre strata property since March, 2010. We have found the quality of workmanship to be of very high quality and find that they are on time, punctual and courteous. Any concerns are answered quickly and followed up with professional reports. Due to an unfortunate accident in our home we suffered severe water damage to our floors and cupboards. Our Insurance Adjuster obtained two quotes for the restoration and PPD Restorations was hired to complete the restoration. I have worked in the construction industry for many years. The employees of PPD were not only knowledgeable and skilled but were also extremely polite and considerate of our feelings. Not only was the work completed in a timely manner but the work was completed when and how PPD told us it would be completed. We the homeowners, highly recommend this company for any type of restoration work due the to the high caliber of people they employ and the management team who was exceptional.

Our house was flooded out by a water main break and subsequent deluge of mud and debris down an embankment. Our media room located in our basement had to be gutted. Our home insurance was activated and a restoration comany started to tear out the room. As the project progressed, various contractors were involved. A paint product was applied to seal the cement floor. Unfortunately the product used was incompatible with the existing materials on the floor and resulted in excessive gassing off of toxic fumes and no drying occurred. The painting contractor involved did not know what to do to resolve the problem, so the restoration company called PPD Restorations and Andre Giasson, Manager, called me immediately and came to my home to do a site inspection that evening. A hazmat crew arrived and set up a negative vent system in the basement to remove all toxic air and the next three days, Andre had his crew come in to my home to remove the offending materials. They were a group of great people and they startd a process to remove the paint from the floor, which was very labour intensive, then prepared the floor for resurfacing with a non-toxic product. PPD Restorations are a professional company that can be trusted to do the job properly. Andre communicated and updated me throughout the whole process. I highly recommend this service company.

I have had the wonderful association with PPD restorations for approximately two years now every time I've had to deal with them or with a situation that I might need them they've come through for me they're very reliable the people that they choose to work under their command are top notch they're excellent young men that are trained extremely well their management style shows through their workers their workers are extremely friendly and courteous not to mention the fact that their professional all the way through I continue to work with them through any of my needs and they're always there for me management and staff run seamlessly together as one if I had to choose them again I wouldn't hesitate and I don't PPD restorations are the ones that I choose and I've never been sorry for that decision that I need 2 years ago thanks again PPD for the great work and your wonderful staff happy holidays from your friend Lou A.
